The Audacity of Grunge~Words & Music by Kurt Cobain

The audacity of Kurt to soothe us with his misery
comfort us with his self disgust
and embrace us in his fear and pain

Welcome to Nirvana

Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle

It's so relieving to know that you're leaving as soon as you get paid.

Its so relaxing to know that you're asking, wherever you get your way

It's so soothing to know that you'll sue me, this is starting to sound the same

I miss the comfort in being sad

In her false witness, we hope you're still with us to see if they float or drown

Our favorite patient, a display of patience
disease covered Puget Sound
She'll come back as fire
to burn all the liars
And leave a blanket of ash on the ground

I miss the comfort of being sad

Very Ape

I am burned up to my neck in
contra dictionary flies
I take pride in the king of illiterate
I'm very ape and very nice

If you ever need anything
please don't hesitate
to ask someone else first
I'm too busy acting like I'm not naive
I've seen it all, I was here first

Out of the ground
into the sky
out of the sky
into the dirt

Serve the Servants

Teenage angst has paid off well
Now I'm bored and old
Self appointed judges judge
more than they have sold

If she floats then she is not
a witch like we had thought
a down payment on another one at Salem's Lot

Serve the servants-oh no
that legendary divorce is such a bore

I think it's a lot like nursery rhymes, designed to sooth the infant but say things like:
"Rock a bye baby, on the tree top (?)
When the wind blows-the cradle will rock
    When the bough breaks
    The cradle will fall (😱)
and DOWN WILL COME BABY -
    CRADLE AND ALL!!! (WTF???)
Gee! That makes ME relax! Strange-human nature. Maybe we like to feel we're not alone in our misery????
